1.- Naomie, tell me about the city where you were born and raised. What do you love about your hometown?
Amsterdam is the place to be! The city is a melting pot of cultures, and that’s exactly what I stand for. Diversity allows people to learn from each other, and that’s what makes Amsterdam so special. It’s a city full of opportunities, creativity, and freedom.
2.- What are your hobbies? What makes you laugh or brings you joy?
I love motorcycling, reading books, and dancing. Riding a motorcycle gives me a sense of freedom, reading books brings me peace, and dancing simply makes me happy. It’s a way for me to express myself and forget about everything around me for a while.
3.- International Model, Finalist of Mrs. Universe Netherlands 2025 – 1st Runner-Up Miss Universe North Holland 2025 – Social Media Winner Naaz Collection 2025 – Model MAF Fashion Battle Winner 2009. When did you decide to take your first steps as a model and in beauty pageants? How do you feel about achieving your dreams, pursuing your passions, and being recognized as an influencer?
From my teenage years, I knew I wanted to do something with fashion and self-expression. My first steps as a model were exciting but also challenging. Over the years, I’ve learned that perseverance and self-confidence are the keys to success. Today, it feels amazing to inspire others and show that you can achieve your dreams no matter where you come from.
4.- What is, in your opinion, the distinctive and unique mark that Naomie leaves in every activity you perform as a beauty queen and model?
My unique mark is staying true to myself, regardless of the norms and expectations in the industry. I stand for diversity and want to show that beauty doesn’t fit into just one standard. Additionally, I use my platform to inspire others, especially young women, to follow their own path and embrace their true selves.
5.- What is the most important virtue that every woman must have to be an international model
Confidence and perseverance. You will face rejection, criticism, and high expectations, but if you believe in yourself and keep working towards your goals, you will succeed.
6.- Are you aware that you are an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to become models? How important is it for you to be a role model for many girls and teenagers.
Yes, I am aware of it, and I take that role very seriously. I want to show that it doesn’t matter where you come from or what you look like as long as you believe in yourself. I hope to inspire young girls to be proud of who they are and not to be held back by the opinions of others.
7.- How did you feel the first time you modeled in front of a video camera? What did you feel the first time you participated in a beauty pageant?
The first time in front of the camera was nerve-wracking, but as soon as I started moving, it felt like second nature. My first beauty pageant was a mix of nerves and excitement. It was a completely new world, but I quickly realized that I was in the right place.
8.- What do you think about the power of social media today?
Social media is a powerful platform that allows you not only to express yourself but also to reach and inspire others. It has opened many doors for me, and I believe that when used correctly, it can have a positive impact.
9.- What advice would you give to young people who have talent but are afraid to take the next step? What advice would you give to parents who don’t support their children’s talents?
For young people: Believe in yourself and take that step, no matter how scary it seems. You will never know what you can achieve unless you try. Making mistakes is part of the journey, but that doesn’t mean you should give up.
For parents: Support your children in their passion, even if it’s not the path you envisioned for them. Their happiness and self-development are the most important things.
10.- Was it easy for Naomie to become a model? Were there obstacles? How did you overcome them?
It was absolutely not easy. I was bullied and often felt different, but that made me stronger. The modeling industry is tough, but I’ve learned that rejection doesn’t mean you’re not good enough; it just means that something better is coming your way.
11.- Women worldwide have gained a more significant role, even though there are still societies where they are mistreated. What is your opinion on the role of women in the future of these societies?
Women play a crucial role in every society. It’s important that we continue to fight for equality and freedom. I believe that education and empowerment are the keys to change, and I hope that more and more women will have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
12.- Naomie, what is your motivation, and what are you grateful for every day?
My motivation is the impact I can make, no matter how small. I am grateful every day for my journey, the lessons I’ve learned, and the people who support me. I live with the mindset that anything is possible if you work for it.
13.- Naomie, do you love traveling? Which countries have you visited? Which other countries would you like to explore, and what places do you recommend visiting in your country?
Yes, I love traveling! I have visited several countries, including Spain, Turkey, and the United States. I would love to explore Japan, South Africa, and Brazil. In the Netherlands, I recommend visiting Amsterdam for its cultural diversity and canals, and the Veluwe for its beautiful nature.
