1. – Fabiënne , tell me about the city where you were born and raised. ,What do you like about your hometown?
Almelo is the place where I was born and raised, and I am happy it turned out that way. Almelo has many canals and water, giving it a cozy appearance. You can even take a boat trip through the city. What I really like about Almelo is De Gravenallee. It is one of the most iconic places in Almelo, a beautiful centuries-old estate with majestic lanes and a rich history. This unique mix of history, nature, and culture makes Almelo a city definitely worth discovering!
2.- What are your hobbies? what makes you laugh a lot or gives you joy?
My hobbies are collecting gemstones and studying astrology. This started when I was 15 years old. I find it fascinating that gemstones can truly help people with certain needs. They have definitely helped me. I also enjoy hearing other people’s opinions about gemstones and astrology.
I always have fun conversations about it. It gives me real joy to study it because it has helped me so much. And I would love to share this knowledge with others.
3.-International Model, Miss Beauty of Overijssel 2025 Finalist. When did you decide to take your first steps as a model and beauty pageants? What feeling do you have achieving your dreams, your passions and being a recognized influencer woman today?
I decided to take my first steps in 2023. I was invited to the casting for Miss Beauty Of Overijssel. Unfortunately, I did not make it. But I followed my dreams and didn’t give up. That is why I decided to participate again this year. And now I’ve made it! I can proudly call myself a finalist.
I am very proud of myself for not giving up and for following my dream. And I want to pass that on to all the other girls who want to achieve something. Go for it and don’t give up!
4.- What do you think is the distinctive, unique stamp of Fabiënne in each activity carried out as a beauty queen and model?
My unique stamp in beauty pageants is that you can see I truly enjoy it. It’s really girl support girls, and everyone helps each other. I also try to spend as much time as possible on good causes to make the world a little bit better.
I want to inspire other girls by encouraging them and letting them know never to give up on their dreams, no matter the obstacles they might face. Despite the challenges I have gone through, I kept pushing and stayed true to myself.
My message is: Keep going, because your unique self is what truly makes you special.
5.- Whats is the main virtue that any woman must have to be an internacional model?
The most important quality every woman must have to become an international model is perseverance. The pageant and modeling world can be challenging, with a lot of competition and criticism.
Perseverance helps you to keep believing in yourself, learn from setbacks, and always strive towards your goals.
6.- Are you aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to be models? How important is it to you to be an idol for many girls and teenagers?
It is a huge honor and responsibility to be a role model for many girls and teenagers. I believe that we all have dreams, and it is my mission to show that dreams have no boundaries as long as you work hard and believe in yourself.
For me, being a role model doesn’t mean being perfect, but showing that you can be strong even when things get tough. It’s about being honest about your own journey, your successes, and the obstacles you’ve overcome. I want to inspire young girls to believe that they can achieve anything they want, no matter where they come from or what others say.
7.- What was your feeling the first time you modeled in front of a video camera? What did you feel the first time at a beauty pageant?
It was truly a dream come true. I was naturally very nervous because I had never stood in front of a camera before. When we had our first photoshoot, I was super nervous, but it wasn’t necessary at all.
We got good instructions, and everyone helps each other. We had super fun training days and great coaches. We all had so much fun. You get new friendships and great personal growth. That’s why I love pageants!
8.- What do you think about the power of social media today?
The power of social media nowadays is very big. It’s a platform where dreams are shared, stories are told, and connections are made. It gives us the ability to raise our voices and show ourselves to the world. For me, social media is not only a place to present yourself but also to inspire others.
It offers a stage to share your passions, motivate others, and spread positive energy. Whether you’re sharing a message of hope, showing your talents, or telling a story that touches others, social media gives you the power to make a difference.
9.- How do you like to interact with your followers on social media? Whats your favorite social media?
Communicating with my followers on social media is one of the most fun thing to do! It gives me the chance to truly connect with people, share stories, and grow together. Whether it’s responding to comments, sharing tips, or posting an inspiring message, I want my followers to know that they are heard and appreciated.
Instagram is my favorite social media because it’s a place where creativity and connection come together. The platform offers so many opportunities to express yourself, from inspiring photos and videos to stories that capture real emotions.
10.- What would you advise young people who have talent but do not dare to take the next step? What would you advise parents who do not support their children’s talents?
Believe in yourself and dare to take that next step. Fear and doubt are normal, but don’t let them stop you. Remember, every big dream starts small. Take the first step, no matter how small, and be proud of yourself for your courage. Talent is a gift, but it only becomes powerful when you dare to use it.
As a parent, you play an important role in your child’s growth and self-confidence. Supporting their talent, even if it’s different from what you expected, give them the chance to be curious about their passion and let them feel that you believe in them.
11.- What important lessons have you learned from the world of fashion and beauty pageants?
From the world of pageants, I’ve learned valuable lessons that have shaped me not only as a model but also as a person. The most important thing I’ve learned is that self-confidence is everything. It’s not just about how you look, but how you feel. Believe in yourself, even when others might not. You have the power to achieve anything you want! Success doesn’t come easy. There will be moments of setbacks, but it’s that determination to keep going that brings you closer to your goals.
12.- Fabiënne , being a model for you has been easy? Were there obstacles?How did you overcome obstacles?
In the beginning, I definitely didn’t find it easy to present myself as a model. It was sometimes quite difficult to truly show myself and step out of my comfort zone. Especially the idea of standing in front of the camera and showing myself as I am felt challenging at first. But by working hard and embracing myself, I’ve learned that it’s actually that vulnerability that makes me stronger.
13.- Have you thought about being an actress? Do you like the entertainment industry?
I have definitely thought about becoming an actress, especially when I was younger. I used to make musically videos (now known as TikTok), and in those videos, I would act. I also enjoyed creating scripts. I find the entertainment industry absolutely fascinating.
It’s a world that is constantly moving, full of creativity and opportunities. What I love about this industry is that it’s about people following their passions and showing their unique talents to the world.
14.- Worldwide, women have acquired a greater role even though there are societies where they are still abused. What is your opinion of the role of women in the future in these societies?
The role of women in the future, especially in societies where they are still abused or oppressed, is a subject that deeply touches me. I believe that the strength of women worldwide will only grow stronger, despite the obstacles they are facing. Society is changing, and women are increasingly being seen as leaders, entrepreneurs, scientists, artists, and political figures.
The resilience and determination of women, even in difficult circumstances, will undoubtedly contribute to the change we hope to see. In the future, I see women in these societies not only as survivors but as forces of transformation. Through education, awareness, and the growth of social movements, women will find their voice and free themselves from violence and oppression.
15.- Fabiënne , what is your motivation and what do you feel grateful for every day?
My motivation comes from the support I receive from my family every day. They are always my biggest encouragers, even during the toughest moments. Their trust in me gives me the strength to keep going and follow my dreams. They are there for me not only in the good times but also when things get tough, and that means the world to me.
16.- Fabiënne , Do you like to travel? What countries do you know? What other countries would you like to know and which places do you recommend to visit from your country?
Yes, I absolutely love traveling! Discovering new places and cultures gives me so much energy and inspiration. So far, I’ve been to Spain, Croatia, and Greece, and I’ve had amazing experiences there. The sunny beaches, the delicious food, and the beautiful nature made a great impression on me. One country I definitely want to visit sometime is Egypt. The rich history, the impressive pyramids, and the mysterious atmosphere there really draw me in. I can’t wait to experience Egypt’s ancient culture.
There are so many beautiful places in the Netherlands you definitely shouldn’t miss! Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands, is always a good idea! The canals, the rich history, the Van Gogh Museum, and the Anne Frank House make it an unforgettable experience. Amsterdam has something for everyone, whether you love art or just want to walk around.
