1.- Eri, tell me about the city where you were born and raised. ,What do you like about your hometown?
I was born and raised in Tokyo, in a traditional downtown area close to Ueno and Asakusa. The connections between neighbors are very strong there, and the community looks after and supports one another, from children to the elderly. In today’s world, where human connections are becoming weaker, I find this sense of community very special and meaningful.
2.- What are your hobbies? what makes you laugh a lot or gives you joy?
I have been practicing hula dance since my first year of junior high school. Hula is where my passion for performing first began, and it taught me the beauty of expressing myself through dance.
Whenever I dance to hula music, it naturally brings a smile to my face. Seeing the audience smile makes me truly happy, and that feeling motivates me even more.
What started as a hobby has gradually become an essential part of my life — something I now consider my life’s work.
3.- International Model, Miss Charm Japan 2025. When did you decide to take your first steps as a model and beauty pageants? What feeling do you have achieving your dreams, your passions and being a recognized influencer woman today?
I had the honor of representing Japan at the Miss Charm 2025, but I don’t see myself as someone special or perfect. I’m just an ordinary woman, just like anyone else.
When I was in university, I watched Miss Universe and became inspired by the women on that stage. At the time, I was very shy and introverted, but I wanted to change myself. Taking that small first step with a little courage ended up changing my life in ways I never expected.
Back then, I could never have imagined that one day I would be giving interviews like this.
I truly feel honored to have come this far, and I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported me and walked alongside me throughout this journey.

4.- What do you think is the distinctive, unique stamp of Eri in each activity carried out as a beauty queen and model?
Elegance, harmony, and compassion.
These are the values that guide my life. I always try to carry myself with grace, build balanced and cooperative relationships with others, and treat people with kindness and consideration.
I believe these values are also at the heart of Japanese culture. Although Japanese people may sometimes appear quiet or reserved, we actually possess deep passion and strong inner strength.
I feel truly honored to represent Japan through this competition and to share these values with the world.
5.- Whats is the main virtue that any woman must have to be an internacional model?
I believe the most important virtue for an international model is authenticity.
In a world where there are so many expectations and standards, staying true to yourself is what makes you stand out.
Authenticity allows you to connect with people beyond appearance and create a lasting impact.
6.- Are you aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to be models? How important is it to you to be an idol for many girls and teenagers?
Yes, I am very aware of that. That is exactly why I feel a responsibility to share this message with younger generations. I wear this sash and crown for that purpose.
In recent years, especially with the rise of social media, I feel that many young women have become influenced by unrealistic beauty standards, constantly chasing someone else’s idea of beauty through excessive editing and filters.
Before I joined pageantry myself, I often compared myself to others and lost confidence because of it. However, throughout my journey in competitions, I continued to face and discover who I truly am. Through that experience, I realized that true beauty has no single standard — it is a person’s individuality and authenticity that make them truly beautiful.

7.- What was your feeling the first time you modeled in front of a video camera? What did you feel the first time at a beauty pageant?
To be honest, before stepping in front of the camera, I felt nervous and afraid. But once the shoot actually began, I was filled with an indescribable sense of excitement and joy.
It was the same on stage. When I walked the runway, the only thing I felt was the desire to fully enjoy the moment I was in.
8.- What do you think about the power of social media today?
During Miss Charm, I especially felt the incredible power of social media. Even before the international competition began, I received support every single day — almost every hour — not only from Japan, but also from Vietnam and many other countries around the world.
That support became a great source of strength for me, and it reminded me that those of us living in today’s world should use the power of social media to make the world a better place.
9.- How do you like to interact with your followers on social media? Whats your favorite social media?
I mainly enjoy talking with my followers through Instagram comments. Even when we are far apart, it makes me feel that our hearts are always connected.
I believe one of the most beautiful things about pageantry is being able to connect with people from all around the world and build friendships beyond borders.

10.- What would you advise young people who have talent but do not dare to take the next step? What would you advise parents who do not support their children’s talents?
I was also once one of those girls who hesitated to take the first step. But my parents believed in me and strongly encouraged me to move forward.
Throughout my life, I have continued to make choices with the mindset of, “If I’m going to regret not doing it, I should at least try.” Even if the outcome turns out differently from what I expected, I believe there is always something valuable to gain from the experience.
Whenever you truly want to achieve something, you are always capable of taking that step. No one should be able to stop you from pursuing your dreams. Believe in yourself and have the courage to move forward. When you do, both you and the world you see will expand in ways you never imagined.
11.- What important lessons have you learned from the world of fashion and beauty pageants?
I’ve learned that beauty is not just about appearance, but also about confidence and the way you treat others. I realized that inner qualities such as kindness, respect, and self-confidence naturally reflect on the outside.
Through these experiences, I was able to grow not only as a beauty queen, but also as a person.
12.- Eri, being a model for you has been easy? Were there obstacles? How did you overcome obstacles?
It was definitely not easy.
I used to compare myself to others and view myself negatively. However, through constantly taking on new challenges, I gradually realized that the things I once saw as weaknesses could also be seen as strengths from a different perspective.
By accepting the weaker parts of myself and turning them into motivation to grow even further, I kept moving forward with the determination to become a better version of myself. And that mindset is what brought me to where I am today.

13.- Have you thought about being an actress? Do you like the entertainment industry?
I’m interested in the entertainment industry, but I’ve never really thought about becoming an actress.
But I’m always open to new possibilities!
14.- Worldwide, women have acquired a greater role even though there are societies where they are still abused. What is your opinion of the role of women in the future in these societies?
I believe that women will continue to have a stronger influence in society, even in regions where inequality still exists.
Many women around the world still face challenges, which is why it is so important for us to support one another and keep moving forward together.
Even in Japan, there is still room for women to have more opportunities and for their voices to be heard more widely. I want to contribute to creating a future where more women can express themselves with confidence and build a better future for themselves and the next generation.
And above all, I truly believe that together, we have the power to change the world.
15.- Eri, what is your motivation and what do you feel grateful for every day?
I’m grateful to be able to share ordinary everyday moments with the people I love, especially in a world where so many unpredictable things can happen.
My motivation comes from the desire to do what I can for the next generation and help create a better path for them to follow.

16.- Eri, Do you like to travel? What countries do you know? What other countries would you like to know and which places do you recommend to visit from your country?
I love traveling. I’ve had the opportunity to visit several countries through pageantry and travel experiences. Every place has been unique and inspiring to me, and each one has given me new perspectives and values. I still hope to visit many more countries in the future.
I would especially love for people to visit Tokyo, the city where I was born and raised. I think Tokyo is a very fascinating city because, while you can enjoy the latest trends and modern culture, it also carefully preserves historical architecture and traditional streetscapes. The coexistence of tradition and modernity is what makes Tokyo so special and unique.
