From the province of KwaZulu-Natal, in the city of Pietermaritzburg, rises a woman whose presence radiates warmth, confidence, and compassion — Noxolo Gcabashe, crowned Miss Peace International South Africa 2026. Her journey from a girl with big dreams to an international ambassador of beauty and purpose is one of resilience, faith, and love for humanity.
For Noxolo, Pietermaritzburg is more than just home — it is the heart of her story. It’s a place where laughter echoes through the streets, where culture and community intertwine, and where even the smallest dreams can take flight. Her upbringing, surrounded by genuine people and shared joy, instilled in her a sense of unity that now shines through every step she takes on and off the runway.
Her passions — reading, modelling, dancing, and connecting with people — reveal a soul deeply in tune with both art and empathy. To her, beauty is not defined by appearance, but by kindness, discipline, and purpose. Becoming Miss Peace International South Africa marks not only a personal triumph but a calling to inspire others to believe in themselves, rise above fear, and embrace their own unique light.
With authenticity as her signature and compassion as her strength, Noxolo Gcabashe embodies the true meaning of peace — a harmony that begins within and radiates outward to the world.
1. My Hometown
I was born and raised in KZN ,Pietermaritzberg. What I love most about my hometown is its sense of community and the warmth of the people. It’s a place full of culture, laughter, and hope where even small dreams can grow into something big.
2. Hobbies and Joy
My hobbies include reading, modeling, and spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy music and dance because they always lift my spirit. What makes me laugh and brings me joy is seeing others happy, especially when I can inspire or help someone feel confident about themselves.
3. Modeling and Beauty Pageants
I took my first steps into modeling when I was quite young, but it became serious when I realized how much confidence and purpose it gave me. Becoming Miss Peace International South Africa 2026 is a dream come true. It represents years of hard work, faith, and passion. Achieving my dreams makes me feel deeply grateful and proud to be a woman who can inspire others to believe in themselves.
4. My Unique Stamp
What makes me unique is my authenticity and compassion. I bring heart to everything I do whether I’m modeling, speaking, or representing a cause. I believe beauty is not just seen but felt through kindness, discipline, and purpose.
5. Virtue of a Model
The main virtue any international model must have is confidence with humility. You must believe in yourself but also treat others with respect, because true beauty is about inner strength and grace.
6. Being an Influence
Yes, I’m very aware and it’s something I take seriously. It’s a blessing to know that young girls look up to me. I want them to understand that beauty is not perfection, it’s authenticity, resilience, and self-love.
7. First Time Modeling
The first time I modeled in front of a camera, I was nervous but excited. When I walked my first pageant stage, I felt powerful, like I was walking toward my destiny. That moment changed everything for me.
8. Power of Social Media
Social media is powerful. It connects us globally and gives us a voice. But I also believe it should be used wisely to spread positivity, education, and empowerment rather than negativity or comparison.
9. Interaction with Followers
I love engaging with my followers through comments, messages, and live sessions. I like hearing their stories and sharing inspiration. My favorite platform is tik tok because it allows me to combine views and see how others live their lives
10. Advice to Young People and Parents
To young people: don’t wait for the perfect time, take the first step now. Fear fades, but regret lasts.
To parents: support your children’s dreams, even if they’re different from your expectations. Sometimes their passion is the path to their purpose.
11. Lessons Learned
The biggest lessons I’ve learned are discipline, patience, and resilience. The fashion world teaches you that rejection is not failure, it’s redirection. Every “no” builds a stronger “yes.”
12. Challenges and Obstacles
Being a model hasn’t been easy. There were moments of doubt and rejection. But I overcame them by keeping faith, staying focused, and surrounding myself with positive people who reminded me of my worth.
13. Acting and Entertainment
Yes, I’ve thought about acting because I find storytelling interesting. The entertainment industry allows you to express emotion and connect deeply with people, and I’d love to explore that one day.
14. Women’s Role in the Future
Women are rising and reclaiming their power. Even in societies where we still face abuse or inequality, I believe education, leadership, and unity will help women transform those spaces. The future is female, strong, intelligent, and compassionate.
15. Motivation and Gratitude
My motivation is to make a positive impact and use my voice and platform to inspire others. Every day, I’m grateful for life, family, opportunities, and the chance to make a difference.
16. Traveling
I love traveling. I’ve visited no country but I’d love to visit countries like France, Japan, Cambodia and Brazil. In South Africa, I recommend visiting Durban for its beaches, Cape Town for its beauty
