1.- Daniella, tell me about the city where you were born and raised. What do you like about your hometown?
I was born in Caracas, Venezuela, but I grew up in the state of La Guaira. Without a doubt, some of my most cherished memories are from Caracas, where I spent unforgettable moments with my family. One of the things I love most about Caracas is its incredible climate and the breathtaking view of El Ávila, a majestic mountain that graces the city’s skyline. The ability to enjoy such a spectacular landscape is something I deeply miss every day.
2.- What are your hobbies? What makes you laugh a lot or gives you joy?
One of my greatest passions is expressing art and bringing creativity to life. I absolutely love video editing—it’s something I do daily, even if I don’t plan to post the content. Editing is my escape, my way of channeling emotions and relieving stress. Even if I only take 30 minutes to edit, it helps clear my mind and allows me to reconnect with my creative side.
Something that truly brings me joy is spending quality time with my loved ones, sharing stories, and reminiscing about past experiences. My family and friends often tell me I would be great at hosting a podcast because I naturally enjoy speaking and storytelling. There is nothing more fulfilling to me than making people laugh and bringing happiness to those around me.
3.- International Model, Miss American International 2024. When did you decide to take your first steps as a model and beauty queen? What does it feel like to achieve your dreams, passions, and be recognized as an influential woman today?
As a Venezuelan, I grew up with the dream of one day competing in Miss Venezuela, a dream that my family has always supported. Since competing at that level requires thorough preparation, I decided to start my journey by participating in Miss American Florida as a way to gain experience, learn, and enjoy the adventure. Winning the title of Miss American Florida 2024 led me to compete in Miss American International, an experience I will never forget, especially because I had the opportunity to share it with my family.
Fulfilling my goals fills me with immense pride and reinforces my belief that dreams come true through hard work and dedication. I have always been a woman who fights relentlessly for what she wants, and I believe that enjoying the journey is the key to success. Today, I feel empowered, confident, and capable of overcoming any obstacle that comes my way.
4.- What is the distinctive, unique stamp of Daniella in each activity you carry out as a beauty queen and model?
Without a doubt, my authenticity is what sets me apart. I believe my unique personality allows me to connect deeply with the people I work with in the industry. No matter what is happening in my personal life—whether it’s a good or challenging moment—I always show up with a smile, spreading joy and positivity. My personality is something I truly value and will never change, as I believe it is what makes me stand out.
5.- What is the main virtue that any woman must have to be an international model?
Humility, responsibility, and respect. These three qualities are fundamental, yet sadly, they are sometimes overlooked in the industry. Carrying a title comes with great responsibility, and I firmly believe that these values are the key to representing it with dignity and grace.
6.- Are you aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to be models? How important is it to you to be a role model for many girls and teenagers?
I take this responsibility very seriously. Knowing that young girls look up to me as a role model motivates me to always put forth my best self. Every decision I make is made with the awareness that there are young girls who see me as an inspiration. I strive to be a positive influence, leaving a meaningful impact on their hearts and showing them that no dream is too big. If you believe in yourself and work hard, anything is possible.
7.- What was your feeling the first time you modeled in front of a video camera? What did you feel the first time at a beauty pageant?
I still remember my first Big runway show—I was incredibly nervous! My hands were shaking, my legs felt weak, and I could barely process the reality of walking on such a prestigious stage. However, the moment I stepped onto the runway, all my fears disappeared. I felt empowered, confident, and absolutely in love with every second of it.
My first beauty pageant was a completely different experience. While I was still nervous, I had a clear mindset: enjoy the moment. I knew that this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, so I made sure to embrace every second of it. I have no regrets because I lived that moment to the fullest, and that is what truly matters.
8.- What do you think about the power of social media today?
Social media is one of the most powerful tools in today’s world. It allows us to connect globally, amplify our voices, and create meaningful change. It serves as a platform for inspiration, education, and raising awareness on important issues.
However, with great power comes great responsibility. It is crucial to use social media with intention, promoting respect, authenticity, and empathy. We must always be mindful of the impact our words and images have on others and use these platforms as a force for good.
Personally, I see social media as an incredible opportunity to influence positively, motivate others, and create real change. If used wisely and with purpose, it has the potential to transform lives.
9.- How do you like to interact with your followers on social media? What is your favorite platform?
My favorite platform is TikTok. I love engaging with my followers through TikTok! It allows me to share a more personal and spontaneous side of my life. While Instagram is where I present a more professional image, TikTok feels like a space where I can truly connect with my audience on a deeper level.
10.- What advice would you give to young people who have talent but are afraid to take the next step? And what would you say to parents who do not support their children’s talents?
I am incredibly fortunate to have had my family’s support since day one. This industry is not easy—it comes with many ups and downs, and having a strong support system makes a world of difference.
To those who feel they don’t have the support they need: go for it anyway. Believe in yourself and show the world what you are capable of. Prove to those who doubt you that you can achieve greatness.
To parents who hesitate to support their children’s dreams: there is nothing more beautiful than watching your loved ones do what they are passionate about. Giving them the chance to shine and be happy is the greatest gift you can offer.
11.- What important lessons have you learned from the world of fashion and beauty pageants?
This industry has taught me so much—both the beautiful and the challenging aspects. But above all, I have learned the importance of discipline. Without consistency and responsibility, success is impossible.
Another crucial lesson is that your self-worth cannot depend on others’ opinions. In this field, confidence is key. Believing in yourself and staying true to your craft is fundamental to thriving in this career.
12.- Daniella, being a model, has it been easy for you? Have you faced obstacles? How did you overcome them?
Absolutely not. The modeling and entertainment industry requires a virtue that many people often overlook—emotional stability. Without it, sustaining a career in this field becomes incredibly challenging. Once you expose yourself to the world, criticism is inevitable, and unfortunately, it is often negative. This is something I face daily, and my biggest obstacle has been learning not to let others’ opinions affect me. While I have grown stronger and it no longer impacts me the way it once did, it is an ongoing process to maintain emotional balance.
My best advice for overcoming these challenges is to believe in yourself, in your journey, and in your talent. Only you truly understand your worth and how much effort you have invested in your dreams. The people who criticize are often those who struggle with their own insecurities. Learning not to take anything personally is essential to protecting your emotional well-being and staying focused on your goals.
13.- Have you thought about being an actress? Do you like the entertainment industry?
For those who have recently started following me through my modeling career, many may not know that before becoming a model, I studied acting for three years at The Actor Academy in Miami, Florida. It was there that I grew, learned, and truly discovered my passion for the craft. Acting has been my biggest dream since I was a child—it’s something I deeply love and enjoy.
Three years ago, I had the incredible opportunity to film a series with Disney+, a moment that still feels surreal to this day. It was a life-changing experience that reaffirmed my belief that dreams do come true, no matter how big they may seem.
Today, I have returned to acting after receiving new opportunities, and without a doubt, it is something I would love to pursue for the rest of my life. Being part of incredible projects has reminded me just how much I enjoy bringing stories to life, and I am excited for everything that the future holds in this industry.
14.- Worldwide, women have acquired a greater role even though there are societies where they are still abused. What is your opinion of the role of women in the future in these societies?
I firmly believe that women have made extraordinary progress worldwide, proving that we are strong, capable, and essential to society. However, it is undeniable that in some parts of the world, many women still face inequality, discrimination, and abuse.
Looking toward the future, I am confident that women will continue to break barriers and inspire change. Education, empowerment, and advocacy are fundamental in ensuring that every woman, regardless of where she is, has the opportunity to live with dignity, freedom, and equal rights. It is essential that we continue raising our voices and standing together to create a world where women are respected, valued, and given the opportunities they deserve.
As women, we have the power to transform societies, to uplift one another, and to set an example for future generations. When a woman is empowered, she not only changes her own life but also inspires those around her. I truly believe that the future belongs to strong, determined, and fearless women.
15.- Daniella, what is your motivation and what do you feel grateful for every day?
My greatest motivation will always be the little Daniella—the girl who once dreamed of everything I am doing today and more. She dreamed big, and even though her goals seemed impossible and far beyond reach, she always believed that with dedication and perseverance, she would achieve them step by step. No matter the circumstances, her determination was always stronger than any obstacle.
However, none of this would have been possible without the unwavering support of my family. They have been a fundamental part of every dream I have pursued, and their encouragement has given me the strength to keep going. They have always been there for me, supporting every project and goal I set for myself. For that, I am deeply grateful. Having a family that believes in your dreams is truly the greatest gift, and I will always cherish and appreciate their love and support.
16.- Daniella, Do you like to travel? What countries do you know? What other countries would you like to know and which places do you recommend to visit from your country?
Without a doubt, traveling is one of the things I love the most. It fills me with energy and excitement to explore new places and experience different cultures. I have been fortunate to visit Mexico, Spain, Haiti, and Jamaica, and I would absolutely love to return to these countries to enjoy their breathtaking landscapes and unique beauty once again.
Currently, I live in the United States, but if I had to recommend just one place to visit in my home country, Venezuela, it would be incredibly difficult because it offers everything you could imagine. If you love cooler weather, Mérida is the perfect destination; if you prefer a tropical paradise, Margarita Island is a dream come true. However, the most spectacular place I would recommend is Angel Falls—one of the most magical and breathtaking natural wonders in the world. It is a destination that everyone should have the privilege of visiting at least once in their lifetime to witness the incredible beauty of Venezuela’s nature.
