1. – Evy, tell me about the city where you were born and raised. ,What do you like about your hometown?
My hometown is Zevenaar, a charming town in the province of Gelderland, in the Netherlands, located near the German border. It’s a place with a rich history, dating back to the Middle Ages, and although it’s not a large city, it has a lot of character. What I like most about Zevenaar is its peaceful and friendly atmosphere. It’s not as busy as larger cities, which makes it feel calm and relaxed, yet there’s always something going on.
2.- What are your hobbies? What makes you laugh a lot or gives you joy?
My hobbies mainly revolve around staying active and spending time with friends. I also enjoy playing soccer it’s not just great exercise but also a fun way to connect with others and be part of a team. When I’m not working out or playing sports, I love going out with my friends, whether it’s grabbing a bite to eat, catching up over coffee, or just hanging out. Shopping is also something I enjoy, whether it’s looking for new clothes or finding something interesting to buy it’s a fun way to unwind and treat myself.
What makes me laugh and brings me joy is definitely the time I spend with my friends. We always have a good time, no matter what we’re doing. After a long day at collage it’s always nice to end the day with a fun trip with my friends. I love spontaneous plans!
3.-International Model, Miss Beauty of Gelderland 2025 Finalist. When did you decide to take your first steps as a model and beauty pageants? What feeling do you have achieving your dreams, your passions and being a recognized influencer woman today?
I decided that I wanted to become a model from a very young age actually. When I was young I always looked at tv programs with models. I find it so inspiring to see a women’s beauty and learn about their point of view on the world. That is actually also the reason why I joined peageants. I really enjoy learning from other inspiring women and get the best version of me. And I also have a place where my voice can be heard through my advocacy. It feels really good to be doing what I love, I also get really confident by the pageant.
4.- What do you think is the distinctive, unique stamp of Evy in each activity carried out as a beauty queen and model?
What makes me unique is a combination of my strong determination and my ability to stay true to myself. I’m currently studying law, which reflects my curiosity and desire to understand how systems work, but it also shows my commitment to a challenging path. Law is something I’m passionate about, and I’ve always been motivated to pursue my studies despite the challenges that come with it.
I think what really sets me apart, though, is my ability to stay true to who I am. I’m not easily swayed by others’ opinions, and I always strive to go my own way, even when it’s not the easiest path. I’m someone who believes in following my own convictions and staying authentic, no matter what. This is where my perseverance really comes into play—when I set my mind to something, I don’t give up easily. I push through obstacles and keep moving forward, even when things get tough.
This combination of dedication, authenticity, and perseverance is what I believe makes me unique. I’m always focused on my goals and committed to staying true to myself in the process.
5.- Whats is the main virtue that any woman must have to be an internacional model?
Confidence is one of the most important qualities for a model because it directly impacts how you present yourself and how others perceive you. In the modeling industry, it’s not just about how you look, but how you carry yourself in front of the camera or on the runway. Confidence allows you to embody different styles and expressions with authenticity, making your poses and movements feel natural and compelling.
6.- Are you aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to be models? How important is it to you to be an idol for many girls and teenagers?
I don’t think I am that big of an influential women but if there are women or girls who are looking up to me. Just know that your dreams are never to big and you can get as far as you want to! I don’t think I find it very important to be an idol for many girls and women. But I hope their inspired in a positive way that they can be whatever they want to be.
7.- What was your feeling the first time you modeled in front of a video camera? What did you feel the first time at a beauty pageant?
The first time in front of a camera was very thrilling, I did not really know how to pose and how to act. But over time I gained confidence and got more comfortable in front of the camera. The first time at a beauty pageant was so much fun, with all the girls and the trainings. I really enjoyed spending all my time with the girls!
8.- What do you think about the power of social media today?
One of the biggest powers of social media is its ability to influence. People follow trends, ideas, and even brands through social media. It can shape opinions, create movements, and even change the way we buy products or choose services. With just a few clicks, a post can go viral and reach millions of people.
9.- How do you like to interact with your followers on social media? Whats your favorite social media?
Instagram ! I use it a lot, I post almost everyday. I interact with my followers the most throughout my Instagram story’s or posts.
10.- What would you advise young people who have talent but do not dare to take the next step? What would you advise parents who do not support their children’s talents?
It’s completely normal to feel nervous or unsure about showing your talent, but remember that everyone starts somewhere. Your talent is unique to you, and it’s something that can bring joy or inspire others. Don’t be afraid of what others might think. It’s natural for parents to worry about their child’s future, but nurturing their talent is just as important as supporting their education. Every child has unique gifts, and by encouraging them to explore their passions, you help them build confidence and a sense of purpose.
11.- What important lessons have you learned from the world of fashion and beauty pageants?
You should dress your own way! Everyone likes other clothes or hair so it really doesn’t matter if you follow fashion trends. I think sometimes trends are fun and I also follow them but most of the time I just wear my own fashion style.
12.- Evy, being a model for you has been easy? Were there obstacles?How did you overcome obstacles?
No, as a model you get rejected very often so you have to deal with that. But it can be very confronting and it can make u insecure. When I was younger I was also really insecure but over the years I’ve learned to love myself so I don’t care what others think about my appearance..
13.- Have you thought about being an actress? Do you like the entertainment industry?
Yes I have! I didn’t really invest time in getting to know the entertainment industry but it may be something I will in the future.
14.- Worldwide, women have acquired a greater role even though there are societies where they are still abused. What is your opinion of the role of women in the future in these societies?
I think man and women should always have the same rights. Women have a unique way of thinking which can help the world by developing better systems. Women are going to have a great impact in the future.
15.- Evy, what is your motivation and what do you feel grateful for every day?
I am really grateful to be where I am today, I am doing a study that I love, I have friends that I love, a happy family, and I am grateful for my rights as a Dutch women. My motivation is my future, I am really working hard to make something of my life and making my parents proud.
16.- Evy, Do you like to travel? What countries do you know? What other countries would you like to know and which places do you recommend to visit from your country?
Yes I like to travel! I actually go on a holiday every year, the last holiday I went on was to the Ardennes. It had a really beautiful nature with bosses and waters. The next county I’d love to visit would be Greece I have never been there and I am very curious to get to know the culture. If u have never been to the Netherlands then I could really recommend going there for a holiday. The culture, the city’s and the food is a really unique experience that u have to experience!
